FINDING MY CENTER

I think there is a little bit of crazy in us all. We just need to find the thing that brings us back to center. Some people knit, drink coffee, sing, dance, bike, walk, or bake. I run to my center.

SUGAR RUSH: FINDING THE SWEETNESS IN DAILY TASKS

I was rushing around trying to get things done, and all I saw were tasks. I forgot to see the world through the eyes of my children. I was on the verge of taking what was a treat to them and turning it into a chore. What is 30 more seconds in the big picture? This little moment was a sweet reminder to find the pleasure in living.

Call me Grandma

I became a grandmother at age 33.

I was asked recently to write a one page summary of my testimony. Most testimonies involve a dramatic moment of change. This is not that story. This is the story of a planted seed that was watered and nurtured. It is the story of how I have grown, bloomed, withered, grown, and bloomed again.
